The NSS Unit of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management (MLRITM), in association with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Workshop on 13th June 2025 for students. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to guide students towards a healthy, productive, and responsible lifestyle. Eminent speakers highlighted the physical, psychological, and social impacts of substance abuse and encouraged participants to become ambassadors of a drug-free society. This initiative reflected MLRITM’s strong commitment to youth welfare, moral education, and community well-being through proactive awareness programs.

The NSS Unit of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management (MLRITM) organized a Health Awareness Campaign on the occasion of World Health Day, observed on 7th April 2025. The campaign aimed to promote health consciousness, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices among students and staff. Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management actively participated in the National Environment Parliament (Youth) held on 22nd December 2024. The event aimed to empower youth to discuss and deliberate on pressing environmental challenges, including climate change, waste management, pollution control, and sustainable development. Students showcased their ideas, shared innovative solutions, and expressed their commitment to building a greener future. This initiative reflected MLRITM’s strong dedication to environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and youth-driven climate action, aligning with national efforts to promote ecological balance and responsible citizenship.

The NSS Unit of MLRITM, in collaboration with AICTE, successfully organized a Debate Competition on 19th September 2025 as part of Swachhata Pakhwada. The event provided a platform for students to voice their opinions on cleanliness and environmental responsibility. Winners and runners-up were felicitated with prizes, inspiring participants to actively contribute towards a cleaner and greener India.

The NSS Unit of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management (MLRITM) organized a Tree Plantation Program on 17th June 2025 to celebrate the birthday of Sri Marri Rajasekhar Reddy Garu, Founder Secretary of MLR Group of Institutions and Arundathi Institute of Medical Sciences, and MLA of Malkajgiri. The event emphasized MLRITM’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and green campus initiatives, aligning with the vision and leadership of Sri Marri Rajasekhar Reddy Garu. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in planting saplings across the campus to promote ecological balance and environmental awareness. This initiative symbolized the institute’s dedication to creating a clean, green, and sustainable future, while honoring the inspiring leadership of Sri Marri Rajasekhar Reddy Garu.
