Third Party Quality Control (TPQC) Projects for GHMC
The Civil Engineering Department has been entrusted by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to execute Third Party Quality Control (TPQC) works for various infrastructure projects across the city.
This prestigious assignment reflects the department’s credibility, technical expertise, and commitment to ensuring the highest standards in construction quality and public infrastructure management.
Scope of Work Includes:
- Independent quality assessment of roads, bridges, drainage systems, and public buildings.
- On-site material testing, mix design verification, and compaction quality evaluation.
- Laboratory analysis of cement, concrete, bitumen, aggregates, and soil samples.
- Periodic inspection reports and performance evaluation for ongoing civil works.
- Recommendation of corrective measures to ensure compliance with IS codes and GHMC standards.
DST-Funded Research Projects
The department has also been actively engaged in sponsored research projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
